Toys Fore Kids: This golf tourney raises money, Christmas gifts for local children. Here’s how to sign up.

The 13th annual Toys “Fore” Kids golf tournament and fundraiser is just around the corner and it’s time to get your team together.
The unique event, sponsored by the Men’s Golf Association, pairs golfing with giving and is just what you need to get into the holiday spirit.
“I am proud to say that in the 12 past years we have donated a little over $80,000 to the Stephenville Optimist Club and local angel tree projects, with just over $60,000 of that coming in only the last six years,” event coordinator Jason Smith told Beneath the Surface News.
“This event grows every year and it's something I'm proud to be a part of.”
The cost to enter the 4-person scramble is $25 plus a $25 new, unwrapped toy (per person).
Cart rental is not included and you must be signed up by Friday, Oct. 31.
Sponsorships are also available.
The tournament begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Legends Country Club in Stephenville.
Donations from tournament proceeds will be made to the Stephenville Optimist Club, Interbank Angel Tree and Erath County’s Shop with a Cop program.
