Say hi to Blossom!
Say hi to Blossom!

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Blossom, a pretty girl as sweet as her name.

“She was adopted and later returned when apartment life turned out not to be the right fit, but don't let that fool you,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“This gentle, softhearted girl hasn't lost her loving spirit one bit. Blossom truly shines in calm, quiet environments and absolutely thrives on attention from her people.”

Blossom is a little sensitive to loud noises, but with patience, reassurance and a peaceful routine, she settles in beautifully.

She is friendly with dogs, cats and strangers and coexists easily around other animals.

Blossom is potty and crate-trained, walks nicely on a leash and enjoys car rides.

“While she's comfortable in her crate, she does not do well being left alone and may bark, which makes her better suited for a home rather than apartment living,” Serena said.

“She also prefers to skip spa days - baths aren't her favorite, but she'll forgive you quickly with some love afterward.”

Blossom is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and heartworm negative.

Bruce Robbinson was found as a stray and never reclaimed.

This young, handsome cat loves attention and enjoys spending quality time with people.

“While Bruce prefers not to be picked up, he's very polite about it,” Serena said.

“He's happiest lounging around, batting at toys and soaking up all the pets he can get.

“With the perfect balance of laid-back and playful, Bruce is an easygoing companion who fits right in.”

Bruce Robbinson is neutered, rabies vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and partially vaccinated.
