Say hi to Brave.
Say hi to Brave.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Brave, a five to six-year-old female Lab mix.

“This very sweet girl was found as a stray and not claimed,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“She is very vocal and barks to get attention. She is good in a crate and decent on a leash. She seems to be good with other dogs, but a meet-and-greet is always recommended with any current household dogs.”

Despite her name, Brave seems to be afraid of cats and is terrified of storms and will need to be inside during bad weather.

Brave is spayed, partially vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

The adopter will need to get her a rabies vaccination.

Bug is a one to two-year-old female domestic shorthair.

“This very friendly girl was a stray and not reclaimed,” Serena said.

“She loves attention and will reach out to grab you when walking by. She was fostered in a home with another cat and seems to prefer being the only pet in the home. She is a pretty quiet cat but sometimes likes to ‘talk’ at night.”

Bug is not a fan of carriers, but enjoys riding on the dash of a car so she can see everything.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
