If you enjoy playing a round of golf – or want to learn how to play – a state-of-the-art indoor golf simulator is now open in Stephenville.

Tee it Up Indoor Golf is located at 2187A W. South Loop (behind HEB) and delivers an immersive indoor golf experience that rivals outdoor play.

“My son played at something similar and really liked it, so we decided to open one here,” owner Chris Gifford told Beneath the Surface News.

“I thought Stephenville could use a little more entertainment.”

The venue is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

All you have to do is book a time slot online and you’ll be given an access code to enter the building and a PIN to operate the simulator.

“We use the Trackman system, which is the best technology in the world,” Chris said.

“There is everything from practice ranges and games like putt-putt for kids to over 400 of the best golf courses in the world.”

Radar, infrared and high‑speed imaging delivers real‑time ball and club data, including 3D spin, spin axis and launch angles that help golfers practice, play and perfect their game.

But it’s not just for pros.

Tee it Up’s welcoming environment is perfect for casual play and friendly competition.

And its climate-controlled space means you can enjoy a game of indoor golf any time of year.

Chris is no stranger to Stephenville; his family also owns Gifford TV and Electronics.

Creating a computer golf game is quite complex. You need to know both the conditions of the game itself and other features of the game. And you also need to transfer it from your imagination to the screen of your computer or phone. For me, this was a moment when what I saw so clearly in my imagination simply refused to be formed on the screen. VSQUAD https://vsquad.art/ helped transform scattered concepts into cohesive worlds. Their artistic vision and attention to detail filled in the gaps where I once struggled, allowing me to focus on storytelling and gameplay without losing the heart of my original ideas.
