The growing popularity of mobile IV therapy is showing no signs of slowing down and it’s catching on in Erath County with the arrival of companies specializing in this type of treatment.
Angela Donley is a registered nurse who has worked in labor and delivery for seven years. She recently signed on as a technician with Lone Star IV Medics and will travel to your home, business or hotel to administer the treatment you need.
Gregg Schrumpf, a licensed paramedic and Stephenville fire marshal, has also joined the team.
“IV therapy is very popular in large, major cities and we have not had anything like this in Erath County until recently,” Angela told Beneath the Surface News. “It’s great because we will come to you so you don’t have to go to a clinic and wait for treatment.
“We schedule you at a certain time and we see you at that time.”
Lone Star IV Medics is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but has technicians all across the state.
“One of the great things about this company is that it has providers everywhere, so if one of my patients is in San Antonio and needs a treatment, they can still text me and I will send their information to a provider that is nearby,” Angela said. “Patients can also sign up to receive stars, and for every $100 they spend, they’ll get one star.
“When they earn 20 stars, they get a free Myers’ Cocktail, which is a $195 value.”
The Myers’ Cocktail is Lone Star Medic’s best-selling package. Featuring five vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, the treatment is aimed at relieving symptoms associated with migraines, fatigue, colds, flu, asthma, allergies and hangovers.
“We put patients over profit and before we ever administer a treatment, we make sure it is safe for you to get an IV by doing a quick health assessment and check of your vital signs,” Angela said.
Treatments take about 30-45 minutes each, and with more than 1,000 five-star reviews, Lone Star IV Medics can typically get a provider to a patient in less than an hour.
To schedule your appointment, contact Angela Donley at 210-730-3788 or Texas dispatch at 214-470-2008.
“I’m excited to get the opportunity to serve my community in this way,” Angela said. “Helping people feel better is what I love to do.”
