Public invited to Stephenville’s open house this week to discuss city’s 2050 comprehensive plan.

The city of Stephenville is hosting an open house to discuss the 2050 Comprehensive Plan at 6 p.m. Thursday at SISD’s Bond Auditorium.

The public is invited to attend.

The city is updating its comprehensive plan, a document used by city leaders, developers, business owners and citizens to make decisions about how the community will grow and develop over the next 20–30 years.

The current comprehensive plan was adopted in 2008 and Stephenville has seen a lot of growth during that time.

During Thursday’s open house, there will be a 45-minute presentation and chance for participants to review project boards, provide input and ask questions.

For those unable to attend, the information will be available on the city’s website.
