Kylie’s Closet inside Studio 6:14 set to unveil Fall collection of dance wear.

Young dancers can purchase everything they need for dance classes right here in Stephenville.

Kylie’s Closet, located inside Studio 6:14 at 1002 W. South Loop, is a one-stop shop for dance wear. The boutique carries leotards, tights, tap, jazz and ballet shoes and face masks for dancers.

“The masks are great,” owner Brittany Thurman told Beneath the Surface News. “All of our teachers wear them and can actually breathe while dancing.”

Brittany opened Kylie’s Closet in July and is set to unveil its Fall collection on Saturday, Sept. 12.

“The Fall collection is starting to trickle in and we have long-sleeved leotards (with attached skirt), sweaters, wraps, scrunchies and leg warmers,” Brittany said. “We even carry a limited supply of dance bags, but they sell like hot cakes.”

Kylie’s Closet only carries quality dance wear - Weissman and Body Wrappers – that Brittany calls “premier dance wear brands.”

The boutique also takes special orders and will make porch deliveries for customers within a 10-mile radius.

“We are open to the public. You don’t have to take dance classes here to shop with us,” Brittany said.

Stop by Kylie’s Closet from noon–6 p.m. this Saturday and check out all the new arrivals. There will be prizes and giveaways every hour.

SHOES FOR A CAUSE

Kylie’s Closet also carries a limited selection of used dance shoes that have been donated by students at Studio 6:14.

Each pair is sold for $5 and the money is used for scholarships to pay tuition on dance classes for families who can’t afford it.

Every year Brittany awards three full and five partial scholarships to her students.

(Yeah, I love that too.)
