WHAT YOU NEED
Â
2 lbs. ground chickenÂ
Â
1 small red onion
Â
3 cloves of garlic
Â
Handful of parsley
Â
1 jalapenoÂ
Â
2 tbsp tomato paste
Â
1 tbsp sumac (alternative za’tar or lemon zest)
Â
1 tsp chili flakes
Â
½ ground cumin
Â
1 tbsp smoked paprika
Â
¼ tsp turmeric
Â
Salt and pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

HOW TO MAKE IT
Â
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Â
Use a food processor to process onion, garlic and parsley
Â
Add mixture to ground chicken along with other spices.
Â
Spread mixture into parchment-lined sheet pan and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, then increase the temperature to broil for three minutes.Â
Â
Serve on naan bread or a pita wrap along with tzatziki and fresh cucumber salad.Â
