You’re losing an hour of sleep this weekend when the time ‘springs’ forward.

Rest up now because you’re losing a full hour of sleep this weekend when we “spring” forward.

That’s right, Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 8, so set those clocks ahead one hour before you go night-night on Saturday.

The good news is that if longer days are your jam, this is your time to shine.

I’m in the minority that despises this time change.

I’m an early-to-bed, early-to-rise kind of girl that doesn’t like going to sleep when it’s still light outside.

Thank goodness for heavy curtains.

Oh, and if you're wondering when spring officially arrives, it’s March 20.

Losing an hour of sleep when the clocks move forward can definitely throw off routines for several days. I liked the practical tips in this post for adjusting gradually and protecting sleep quality during the transition. Small habits, such as maintaining a consistent bedtime and reducing nighttime disruptions, can make a noticeable difference. I’ve also been looking into solutions from Ozlo Sleep that help create a more restful sleep environment. With daylight saving changes already challenging our schedules, anything that supports deeper, more consistent sleep is worth considering. Thanks for sharing these helpful reminders at the perfect time of year.

I totally get that-losing even one hour of sleep can really throw everything off, especially if you’re sensitive to routine changes. It’s interesting how something as simple as a time shift can highlight how important consistent, quality sleep really is. For people who already struggle at night, like with breathing issues, it can feel even worse. That’s why awareness around options like sleep apnea treatment matters so much-getting stable, restorative sleep makes these transitions a lot easier to handle.
