Aaron Webb was convicted Wednesday of threatening three Erath County officials.

An Erath County jury on Wednesday found De Leon resident Aaron Webb guilty of threatening three Erath County officials.

He has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on all counts.

"We are grateful to the jury for affirming that threats of violence will not be tolerated in Erath County," District Attorney Alan Nash said following the sentencing.

Webb was represented by attorney Brady Pendleton.

According to the official complaint obtained by Beneath the Surface News, Tim Holzschuh, an investigator with Nash’s office, received a letter on Oct. 14, 2025 from a confidential informant outlining an alleged threat from another inmate.

The letter reportedly contained a statement from Webb detailing a plot to ambush or assassinate District Court Judge Jason Cashon, Assistant District Attorney Mackenzie Pack and Erath County Sheriff’s Deputy Taylor Tully.

The two-day trial began Tuesday.

Judge Bob Brotherton of Wichita Falls presided over the case.
