If you love a themed event, make plans to attend Dulce Panda Creamery’s glow party happening from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30.
This whimsical creamery located on Washington Street in Stephenville specializes in small batch premium ice cream (think cookie smash and velvet chocolate), fresh waffle cones, milkshakes, malts, affogatos, iced/hot coffees, brownie sundaes, bubble waffles and ice cream sandwiches, cakes and pies.
Owner Robyn Padilla told Beneath the Surface News the glow party is a back-to-school celebration for local families and Tarleton State University students.
“We are decorating the store and blacking out the windows,” she said.
“Everything else will be glow in the dark. We are also going to showcase some special flavors that we are not currently scooping.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
New to Dulce’s grab-and-go menu are popsicles made with dye-free ingredients.
Their mouth-watering summer flavors include “Orange Nerdy,” a refreshing, nostalgic ice cream blended with Nerds, “Huckleberry” made from wild berries that grow up north, “No Tellin’” made with Nutella and Biscoff cookies, and a brand new flavor – “Salted Caramel Café.
“Our customers love it,” Robyn said.
Dulce Panda Creamery is looking ahead to the holiday season with Halloween flavors debuting in October followed by the 12 Days of Christmas.
Dulce Panda Creamery is open from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, 2-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 12-9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
