Bridge over North Bosque River in Stephenville closes Monday for reconstruction.

Work will begin Monday, Oct. 6, on a project to reconstruct the CR 454 bridge over the North Bosque River.

 

The project will include the replacement of the bridge structure and is estimated to be complete next summer.

To facilitate the work, CR 454 will be closed at the bridge beginning Monday.

 

A signed detour will be in place.

 

TxDOT encourages attention to all warning signs within the work zone as crews complete this project as quickly and safely as possible.

Thanks for the update on the North Bosque River bridge closure. My IronTechDoll Blythe 160cm and I often walk there. We'll definitely be avoiding that area starting Monday. Hopefully the reconstruction finishes quickly so we can resume our scenic river strolls soon
