A 100-mile motorcycle ride across Erath County will benefit a Stephenville man battling cancer.
The weather will be perfect Saturday for a 100-mile motorcycle ride benefiting a Stephenville man battling stage 4 colon cancer.
Friends of Brian Carlson, former owner of Streamline Cycles, are hosting Cruzin’ for a Cause to raise money for his medical and living expenses.
The ride will wind through Erath County’s prettiest countryside and begin and end at Stephenville City Park.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. Saturday and the ride begins at 9.
“If cars want to join, they can. I know there are several jeeps that will ride,” Trudy Woody, one of the event organizers, told Beneath the Surface News.
The cost is $20 for a single rider and $30 for two.
The 10th annual event will also include live music by the Immediate Blues Band, a corn hole tournament, Chinese auction, raffle and barbecue and hot dog lunch (for a $5 minimum donation) all held at the large pavilion at City Park.
