Say hi to Osa!
Say hi to Osa!

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Osa, a sweet girl that arrived at the shelter as a stray and never claimed.

“Despite her rough start, this gentle girl has shown us just how much love she has to give,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

Osa is potty trained and settles well into a crate.

She is still working on developing leash manners, but is eager to please with continued training and positive reinforcement.

Osa gets along with other animals, loves the outdoors and going for long walks.

“She enjoys lick mats, KONG toys and mental enrichment to keep her busy,” Serena said.

Osa is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.

Athena is a two-year-old female cat that also arrived as a stray.

She is sweet, affectionate and loves people.

Athena is neutered, litter box trained, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.

Stop by the shelter to see if you have a connection with these two sweethearts.
