This sweet Lab/Great Pyrenees mix isn’t shy about showing affection; now she needs a family of her own.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Caveat, a sweet 3-year-old female Lab/Great Pyrenees mix who loves attention and isn't shy about showing her affection.
“She loves giving kisses and being around her people, making her a loving companion for someone looking for a big-hearted girl,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“Caveat will likely need a refresher on potty training as she settles into her new home. She is somewhat crate-trained and may need a little continued guidance and consistency as she learns the household routine”
Caveat has not yet been tested around other dogs or cats, so slow introductions will be important if she joins a home with other pets.

She is spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative.
Suburu arrived at the shelter as a devoted mom cat with her baby in tow.
“Now that her kitten-raising days are behind her, she is ready to find a home of her very own,” Serena said.
This independent girl enjoys attention on her own terms and isn't afraid to let you know when she's had enough.
Because she can be quick to give a swat or nip when she's overstimulated, Suburu would do best in an adult-only home or one without young children.
She enjoys affection when she's in the mood, but she also appreciates having her personal space respected.
Suburu does not get along with dogs or other cats, so she would do best as the only pet in her home.
She is a neat, tidy girl who spends much of her time lounging and napping peacefully in her kennel.
Suburu is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
