This sweet Border Collie has been at the shelter for more than a year. Now he needs a happy home.

Thanos

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Thanos, a two to three-year-old male Border Collie mix.

“Thanos is very people friendly and wags his whole body when greeting people,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He will need some leash training because he pulls when stressed or motivated to go after something.

“He still has a lot of puppy energy and would probably do best in a home without small children.”

Thanos is vocal when he’s in his kennel and would benefit from a big yard to run around in.

He is crate-trained, neutered and has had DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

He has been at the shelter since March 2022.

Notarized is a two to three-year-old male domestic shorthair.

“We thought he was feral when he came in, but once he got comfortable, he is a friendly boy,” Serena said. “He is very sweet and really appreciates a calm, quiet environment.”

Notarized

Notar does not actively seek attention, but does enjoy having his head and cheek scratched.

He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litterbox trained.
