One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Harry, a three to four-month-old male mixed-breed pup with a big heart and lots of energy.
“Harry was born under a local business and brought safely into our care,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“He didn't have much early human interaction, but you'd never know it now. This sweet boy loves attention and soaks up every bit of affection he can get.”
Harry is playful, curious and always on the move, discovering the world one paw at a time.
“He's almost housebroken and just needs a little more consistency and patience to get there,” Serena said. “Like any growing puppy, he'll need help learning leash skills.”
Harry is up to date on DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.
His neuter will be scheduled at the time of adoption.
Nine Inch Claws is an 11-month-old kitten that’s ready to rock her way into your heart.

“She came to us as a stray with her sister, Dolly Purrton, and after being treated for ringworm, she's now healthy, glowing and ready to be adopted,” Serena said.
“Nine Inch Claws is the more outgoing sister, though she may be a little shy at first.
“She's a soft soul who just needs a little reassurance to feel safe and loved.
“We think she'd thrive as the only cat in the home, where she can build confidence and enjoy being the star of the show.”
NIC is fully vaccinated, spayed, dewormed and microchipped.
