Indoor shrimp boil: bringing summer vibes to your kitchen.

If you love a shrimp boil made with sausage, potatoes and corn, but can’t stand the summer heat, make one indoors.
This recipe is perfect for those hot summer days when dinner calls for something fun.

WHAT YOU NEED
1.5 lbs. new potatoes, halved
4 ears of corn shucked and cut into 3-4 pieces each
1 large red onion, cut into wedges
12 oz chicken sausage, sliced
1 lb. large shrimp
4 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tbsp old bay seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 fresh parsley
1 lemon
HOW TO MAKE IT
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Boil halved baby potatoes and cook for 5 minutes then add corn pieces and cook for another 5 minutes, drain well.
Stir together melted butter, Old Bay, garlic powder, paprika and salt to make the butter mixture.
Add potatoes, corn and red onion wedges to the sheet pan.
Add half of the butter mixture and toss to coat and bake for 10 minutes; remove from oven.
Add shrimp and sliced sausage to pan and toss in the remaining butter mixture.
Return to oven and cook for another 10 minutes until shrimp is pink and cooked through.
Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
Serve and enjoy!
