Huffin’ for the Stuffin’. Register now for this Thanksgiving Day turkey trot.

Before you stuff yourself with turkey on Thanksgiving Day, make plans to take part in the 8th annual Huffin’ for the Stuffin’ 5k fun run in Stephenville.
Julie and Dana Brinkley started the neighborhood run, which has expanded to a community-wide event with more than 200 participants last year.
The fun run will start at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26, at Lakeside Physicians, located at 950 Bluebonnet Street in Stephenville.
Runners will be treated to fun stations, door prizes and a piece of pumpkin pie when they cross the finish line.
New this year: “The Largest Flock of Turkeys” award.
“That will go to the largest family in attendance,” Julie told Beneath the Surface News.
To guarantee a T-shirt and medal, register before Nov. 7. The price increases to $35 after that date.
Click here to register for $30.
Door prizes begin at 9 a.m.
Strollers and leashed pups are also welcome.
The entry fee helps cover race day costs and benefits the Stephenville Running Club.
Oh, and participants are asked to bring canned food to be donated to Grace Place Ministry.
