Bull Nettle, Stephenville’s No. 1 sports bar, is gearing up for the biggest night in football with a Super Bowl watch party on Sunday.
The big game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. when the Seattle Seahawks take on the New England Patriots in Santa Clara, CA.
You can watch the game on Bull Nettle’s 12 TVs and large video screen with surround sound.
Owner Court Cole told Beneath the Surface News that the watch party is an annual event.
“We do this every year as a thank you to our customers,” he said. “We always have a good crowd, so it’s a lot of fun.”
Bull Nettle will provide free pulled pork and smoked sausage for the crowd; guests are asked to bring sides and appetizers.
“One of my favorite things is when the national anthem comes on; everyone stands up and takes off their hats,” Court said. “It’s really cool.”
DIP AND APPETIZER CONTEST (AND THERE'S PRIZES!)
If you think you make the best dip or appetizer in town, bring it.
Prizes like local gift cards will be awarded to the top dip-makers.
The bar opens at 2 p.m. on Sunday for those who want to do a little pre-gaming.
“Come on out to watch the game with us,” Court said. “It’s the best Super Bowl watch party in town.”
