One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is David, a five to six-year-old domestic shorthair with a big personality.
“This sweet boy came to the shelter after his owner sadly passed away, but he hasn't let that dull his friendly spirit,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“Walk past his kennel and he'll likely reach out with a paw to snag your attention. He loves people and isn't shy about asking for pets.”
David has lived with other cats and should do well with feline friends.
He's the perfect mix of playful and relaxed - happy to chase toys one minute and lounge in a cozy spot the next.
David is neutered, partially vaccinated and microchipped.
All he needs now is a loving home to call his own!
Goober is a one-year-old Border Collie mix with a big heart.

“This friendly boy was sadly returned due to housing issues, but it had nothing to do with his behavior,” Serena said.
“Goober is great with dogs, cats, kids and new people, making him a wonderful fit for many homes.”
He's housebroken, crate trained, loves toys and is always ready for a walk or car ride.
Goober still has some playful puppy energy and may chew if left alone, so he does best kenneled when unsupervised.
Baths aren't his favorite, but everything else about life makes his tail wag!
Goober is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready to find his forever family.
