Local stylist Tristen Raye Carr says making women look and feel their best is the reason she opened Blevins Hair Studio in Stephenville.

“I love doing women’s haircuts; I love a good transformation for someone,” Tristen told Beneath the Surface News.

“I think a great haircut can make anyone feel better.”

The salon, located at 1481 W. South Loop, suite 9, offers luxury hair services like handtied extensions.

She also offers lived-in color, which lasts for up to three months.

Tristen grew up in Cranfills Gap and pursued a degree in agriculture at Tarleton State University before attending cosmetology school at Aveda in Houston.

Today, she works alongside Tess Hall at the salon.

“I am very relatable and get along well with people, which is why I enjoy being a stylist,” Tristen said.

“It’s an important job to make women feel good about themselves and give them something to look forward to.”

Tristen says a good blowout also goes a long way in making women feel great, and Blevins Hair Studio offers two blowout packages.

The first includes a blowout once a week and 10-minute deep conditioning treatment for $155 per month.

The second includes two blowouts per month for $70.

The salon also offers Brazilian blowouts to treat frizzy hair.

To book your appointment, contact Tristen at 254-253-0733.

This is such a great read! Love seeing a small business owner talk about beauty as a mission and not just a job. There’s something really special about someone who genuinely cares about helping people feel confident and happy when they walk out the door.

Been seeing a lot of buzz lately around different hair brands and services, and when I was shopping for extensions myself I checked out Luvme Hair reviews — tons of real users talking about quality, how natural it looks, and how it actually holds up day to day. It makes me appreciate stylists even more, because no matter how good the product is, having someone skilled to work with it makes all the difference.
