One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Rocco, a three to four-month-old mixed breed puppy who's ready to bring nonstop fun and laughter into your life.

“This handsome little guy came to us as a stray with nine siblings and is now looking for a family to call his own,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“Rocco is everything you'd expect from a puppy; playful, curious and always up for an adventure.”

Whether he's chasing toys, wrestling with his siblings or zooming around the yard, he knows how to make every day exciting.

Rocco is still learning the basics, so he'll need a patient family to help with potty training, walking on a leash and other important life skills.

He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed and partially vaccinated.

Frost is a two to three-month-old domestic shorthair kitten with a curious spirit and playful personality.

Found as a stray and never reclaimed, this little adventurer is ready to find a family of his own.

“Frost loves exploring, playing and spending time with his kitten friends,” Serena said.

“While he's still learning that human attention is pretty great, he's making progress every day and is well on his way to becoming a cuddle-loving companion.

“He has done wonderfully with other cats and would likely enjoy having a feline buddy in his new home.”

This handsome boy is litter box trained, dewormed and partially vaccinated.

Frost is still a little too small for a microchip, but that will be completed when he returns to be neutered.
