Man takes shot to the leg in drunken gathering outside local hotel.

There are two things that definitely don’t go together: Guns and alcohol.
Unfortunately for one man, those two things were combined late Thursday night and he ended up with a gunshot to the leg.
Captain Jeremy Lanier with the Stephenville Police Department told Beneath the Surface News that the department received a call shortly before midnight on Thursday from the Rodeway Inn in Stephenville, near Pastafina.
“There was a parking lot full of drunken adults who decided it would be a good time to show off their guns,” Lanier said.
“One of the guns went off while being handled and someone was injured.”
An adult male was shot in the leg and transported to Texas Health Harris Fort Worth.
He is expected to be ok.
No arrests were made.
