First things first.

Did you get your mammogram yet? I did.

I schedule an appointment every October when the nation recognizes National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This year, I got my mammogram at Stephenville Medical & Surgical Clinic where there is a special on the testing.

Texas Health Resources is also offering a mammogram promotion through the end of the month, so you really don’t have an excuse to skip it.

Seriously. Getting a mammogram is quick and painless and could possibly save your life.

You know what they say about early detection…

VIRTUAL LUNCHEON

Texas Health Resources will host a virtual breast cancer awareness talk from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Pre-registration is not required and there will be a time for questions and answers after the presentation.
