TexasBank is continuing its mission to give back to the communities it serves.
Its latest focus is Kingdom Threads in Dublin, a local ministry through First Baptist Church that provides free, gently-used clothing, shoes, household items, books and linens to neighbors in need.
TexasBank’s community outreach manager Kelsey Goates told Beneath the Surface News the Dublin branch will host an event to bring awareness to the organization from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Kingdom Threads parking lot next to the church.
“We want to raise awareness for Kingdom Threads and the work they’re doing in our community,” Kelsey said.
“We will have a snow cone truck and some giveaways and will also present a $2,500 check from TexasBank to the organization.”
The community is invited to attend.
