Everyone loves a good lasagna.
It’s pure comfort in a pan, but making it can sometimes be a little tedious.
This recipe for “lazy lasagna” takes out all the work, but not the taste.
Click here to watch a video on how it’s made.
WHAT YOU NEED
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
8 lasagna noodles
½ cup ricotta cheese
2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese, or more to taste
2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese, or more to taste
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
HOW TO MAKE IT
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; add Italian sausage and cook until brown and crumbly, five to eight minutes.
Drain grease from the skillet.
Pour in 1/2 of the pasta sauce and mix with browned sausage.
Break up lasagna noodles into 4 or 5 pieces each; set on top of sauce mixture.
Add remaining pasta sauce on top of noodles and stir.
Cover and simmer over medium-low heat until noodles are soft, about 25 minutes.
Add ricotta cheese and season with garlic powder, salt and pepper; stir until ricotta has melted.
Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan on top; cover and let sit until cheese has melted, about five minutes.

Lasagna, made the ‘lazy way,’ looks incredibly comforting, and the new dunkin donuts menu actually sounds like the perfect combo for a cozy meal and coffee break afterward.
My neighbor absolutely hates going grocery shopping after work because stores are always crowded in the evenings, so she orders nearly everything through delivery apps now. Most weeks the system works fine, but recently an order arrived with missing items and strange substitutions that nobody in the house even wanted. She spent forever comparing the receipt with what actually showed up at the door and became increasingly annoyed while trying to request refunds through the app. Eventually she started looking for instacart customer service because she wanted a faster solution than automated responses.
