The next movie night at the W.K. Gordon Museum and Research Center will feature Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy in the 1932 classic “Pack Up Your Troubles” at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.
The boys’ Army buddy Eddie Smith is killed in the trenches in France during WWI, leaving his baby girl an orphan.
Back home after the armistice, they try to find Eddie’s father and turn the child over to him.
Unfortunately, they keep coming up with the wrong Smiths.

The W.K. Gordon Center is located at 65258 Interstate 20, Exit 367, in Mingus and is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
The combined museum and special collections library are located at the site of the Thurber ghost town.
