Finding a forever home for Catherine: Meet the sweet shelter pup ready for love.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Catherine, a sweet two to three-year-old mixed breed looking for a family to call her own.
“After coming to us as a stray, she's ready to leave shelter life behind and become someone's beloved best friend,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
Catherine has done well with other dogs and enjoys looking after the smaller pups.
She has a gentle, caring personality, although she may be a little shy at first while she gets to know you.
She also appears to be kennel and potty trained.
Catherine has an old injury to one of her front legs that causes a slight limp, but it doesn't stop her from enjoying life.
She's spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.
Bug is a handsome kitten that loves to chat.
“Bug greets everyone with a friendly meow and soaks up all the attention he can get,” Serena said.
“He also came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed, and now he's ready to find a family of his own.”
Bug is affectionate, uses his litterbox like a pro and would love a home where he can be your constant companion.
He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.
