Kick off the shopping season at the city’s annual holiday market. (Santa will be there!)

The unofficial start to the holiday shopping season arrives on the first weekend of November when the city hosts its annual holiday market at the Recreation Hall.
The two-day event will be held from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
There will be more than 100 vendors selling everything from home décor, jewelry, clothing and tons of gift ideas.
The vendors will be set up inside the Rec Hall and under the pavilions.
The event has been completely revamped and will include holiday-themed bounce houses for kids, food trucks and complimentary pictures with Santa.

Playing some Christmas music will go a long way in getting people into the holiday buying spirit. Just a suggestion…..
