Keep up: Ice skating, day of nature, Oktoberfest and Bull Nettle Bash all happening in Stephenville this weekend!

It’s going to be a rare weekend in Stephenville with so many great events taking place that it’s hard to keep up.
So, I’ve got the lowdown for you!
First, start with a little ice skating at Tarleton State University’s EECU Center.
The winter experience happens today and Saturday.

Oktoberfest will take place from 3-10 p.m. Saturday at the Cross Timbers Legacy Center in Stephenville.
There will be German street food, authentic German beer, live music, shopping and activities for people of all ages.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m. so football fans can catch the Red River Rivalry between OU and Texas on the big screens while enjoying a German beer.
Live music begins at 4 p.m.
There is no charge to attend the event, but there is a cost for food and drinks.

Round up the family and enjoy a day of fun when the Prairie Oaks Master Naturalist Chapter hosts its 7th annual Nature Fest from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Bosque River Trail Nature Center in Stephenville.
The free event will include hands-on activities, wildlife education, activities for kids and outdoor fun.

And finally, stop by Bull Nettle for its third annual day of music.
The Bull Nettle Bash will start at 2:30 p.m. with an amazing lineup of musicians playing throughout the night.
There will be tacos and barbecue sandwiches available for purchase and all-day drink specials.
There is a $10 cover charge and only those 21 and older will be admitted.
