Do you know a law enforcement official whose dedication to the profession is worthy of public recognition?
If so, now’s your chance to nominate them for August’s “Hometown Hero” award, sponsored by Leslie Walker Farmers Insurance Agency.
Officers, deputies, investigators and officials with the Stephenville, Dublin and Tarleton police departments, Erath County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Public Safety are eligible to be nominated.
Submissions are due by Aug. 7.
Nominations can be emailed to carlene.lwalker@farmersagency.com or mailed to Farmers Insurance, Attn: Erath County Heroes, 155 N Graham #102, Stephenville TX 76401.
Please include information about the nominee and don’t forget to include your name and phone number.
The nominations will be evaluated by a panel of judges and the winner will receive a certificate of appreciation, gift certificate to a local business, gift basket and treats for their coworkers.

Totally support nominating a dedicated local officer for Erath County’s Hometown Hero award! Their service deserves recognition. Even my DUI Lawyer Kansas City mentioned how strong local law enforcement presence can positively impact communities. Let’s honor those truly making a difference!
Not sure if it counts, but I gotta shout out the officer who helped my cousin when he got caught up in some mess. Real dude stayed calm and even told us about Didn’t Do It Bail Bonds https://www.pissedconsumer.com/didnt-do-it-bail-bonds/RT-F.html . That moment showed me not all cops are just out for tickets, ya know? Some really care.
