As an investigative chemist, I spend my days working with brands all over the world, analyzing formulations, evaluating treatments and understanding how products and technologies work.
But some of my favorite research happens right here in Stephenville.
Â
There’s something unique about seeing advanced wellness innovations available right here in town.
Â
One local business that caught my attention is The Wellness Bar.
Â
I recently tested out a trending treatment there and absolutely loved it!
Â
Â
The lymphatic drainage suit is unique, relaxing and you will love the benefits.
Â
Head to Chemistry Cachet’s blog post to read more science behind why I chose this treatment and how and it works.
Scientifically, this treatment is designed to support the lymphatic system, which plays a critical role in removing waste, excess fluid and toxins from the body.
Â
Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system doesn’t have a central pump, meaning it relies on movement or external stimulation to function efficiently.
Â
The suit uses gentle, rhythmic compression to mimic this natural movement, encouraging lymph flow throughout the body.
This type of therapy is commonly associated with reducing swelling, improving circulation and supporting overall recovery.
Â
Â
From my perspective, the treatment was both relaxing and noticeably effective.
By the end, I felt completely at ease and I noticed a reduction in bloating and puffiness.
Â
Sessions typically last between 30–40 minutes depending on your goals.
Â
I chose 35 minutes, which felt like the ideal amount of time.
Â
I also recorded my experience so you can get a better sense of what the suit looks like and the overall setup.
