I’ve had several requests to share another version of my healthy granola bar recipe, so here it is.
This recipe is super easy to make, delicious and stays fresh for several days.
STEP 1
1 stick of butter
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup honey
Let this melt over low heat; remove and add dash of vanilla.
STEP 2
In large bowl, combine 2 1/4 cups protein oats
2 cups rice cereal
1/4 cup flour
Dash of cinnamon
Combine until mixed.
Pour melted ingredients over dry and combine.
Optional: Add in a couple handfuls of chocolate chips.
STEP 3
On parchment lined baking dish (9x13), press mixture into dish and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Let cool, cut and store.

Thank you for sharing this recipe, Sarah! I've been looking for a healthy snack that actually tastes good during swimsuit season, and these sound perfect. Can't wait to try them—especially with that chocolate chip option!
I made a batch like this before a beach weekend, and they disappeared fast from the kitchen counter. I like that they’re simple, filling, and easy to pack for errands or a long walk. The peanut butter and honey give them a cozy homemade taste, and the chocolate chips make them feel a little more fun. I even checked https://hers.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html once while comparing snack-related brands. Honestly, recipes like this are the kind I keep coming back to every summer.
