Get into the spirit of Fall with this chocolate chip banana bread.

I know, I know.

It’s still not officially Fall, but it is September, which means it’s time to start baking like the weather has turned cooler.

This delicious recipe will have you dreaming of falling leaves and warm lattes while creating an amazing aroma throughout your home.

WHAT’S IN IT

2 cups flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1 tbsp. milk

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 c butter, softened

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

HOW TO MAKE IT

Preheat oven to 325 degrees and prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan with spray.

Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix bananas, milk and cinnamon, and in a third bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

Add eggs to the butter mixture. Stir in banana mixture, then add dry ingredients and blend well.

Fold in chocolate chips and pour into loaf pan.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, then try not to eat it all during one sitting.
