A two-year-old child accidentally shot his nine-year-old sister last week after picking up an unsecured handgun.
The child victim has reportedly been released from the hospital and is recovering, a source told Beneath the Surface News.
Chief Deputy Jeremy Woodruff with the Erath County Sheriff's Office said the shooting was accidental and no charges have been filed.
