Beefy likes to sit, shake and walk on a leash. She has been at the shelter since September.
This week’s featured pet up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Beefy, a two to three-year-old female Shepherd/Pit mix.
“She walks very well on a leash and knows how to sit and shake,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She is treat-motivated and easily distracted.”
Beefy is house broken and did well when left alone in foster care. She is dog-friendly, but will resource guard her food around other dogs and should be fed separately.
Beefy rides well in a car, is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.
She has been at the shelter since September.
