A Christmas trail with more than 2 million lights set to open soon; displays are already going up.

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a lot of Christmas cheer happening at Stephenville City Park as the Erath County United Way gears up for its second annual holiday display.

Light up the Night Christmas Celebration will be open from 6-9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Dec. 3-19.

And the displays are already going up!

ECUW executive director Lisa Scroggins told Beneath the Surface News that Santa will be there every Friday night for pictures and there will be live performances on Saturday nights.

The trail will include more than 2 million Christmas lights lining a 3/4-mile path winding through Stephenville City Park.

As you bundle up and make your way through the twinkling wonderland, you will be greeted by the sights and sounds of the season and breathtaking displays of all things Christmas.

You can even stop and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa.

Tickets for children 12 and younger are $5, adults are $10 and children under the age of two are free.

Groups of 50 or more will receive 20% off ticket prices.

Make plans to attend this amazing holiday celebration with your family and friends now!
