A 2026 calendar showcasing pets adopted from the Erath County Humane Society is out and (almost) on sale.
Debi Paullin came up with the idea for the calendar after taking photos of her own pets she adopted from the shelter.
“The calendar is compiled of candid photos of pets that have been adopted from various people throughout the community,” Debi told Beneath the Surface News.
The 8x8 calendar will sell for $25 each.
All proceeds, of course, benefit the shelter, which is still in the process of raising money for its new facility.
The calendars will officially go on sale Oct. 1 (just in time for Christmas) at the following Stephenville locations: Turquoise and Company, Blue-Eyed Buffalo, Saddle Rags, Cowboy Tobacco, Powrfit Gym, Taylor Feed and Tea2go.
But if you can’t wait that long, stop by the ECHS, and if you’re lucky, you might get your hands on one of the 50 pre-sale calendars that are on sale now.
Proceeds from the sale of those calendars will go towards the cost of printing more.
Local businesses interested in selling the calendars can email Debipaullin@gmail.com.
