Wellington State Bank is announcing the promotion of Cody Stone to branch president of its Stephenville location.
Cody brings more than 25 years of banking experience to this role, having served local customers and the Stephenville area since 1999.
Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for steady leadership, outstanding customer service and a genuine passion for community banking.
“Cody truly understands what community banking is all about - building strong relationships and putting people first,” said Richard Sims, president and CEO of Wellington State Bank.
“He’s a trusted leader, and we’re excited to see him continue serving the Stephenville community in this new role.”
Cody earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Howard Payne University and his Master of Business Administration from Tarleton State University.
He is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
As branch president, Cody will lead the day-to-day operations in Stephenville while working closely with local businesses, families and community organizations.
