SOAR Physical Therapy unveils new wellness and recovery clinic at its downtown Stephenville location.

Much has changed at SOAR Physical Therapy since owner Jeffrey Bierman first opened the doors to his Stephenville clinic in 2022.
Today, he has a new 6,000-square foot location at 2109 W. Washington Street and has unveiled a wellness and recovery clinic, which includes massage therapy, a full body cryotherapy chamber and infrared sauna.
Cryotherapy and sauna treatments can be purchased individually or in packages.
Walk-ins are welcome for the cryotherapy chamber, but appointments are recommended for the infrared sauna.
As an athlete growing up in Stephenville, Bierman was no stranger to sports-related injuries.
“I spent a lot of time in the training room and watched a lot of my friends suffer injuries while playing sports,” he told Beneath the Surface News in a previous interview.
After graduating from Texas State University with a degree in exercise and sports science in 2010, Bierman was accepted into the university’s physical therapy program and graduated with a doctorate in 2015.
SOAR Physical Therapy offers personalized care for orthopedic conditions like post-surgical rehab, back and joint pain, sports injuries, vestibular conditions, concussion rehab and TMJ.
“We also offer sports injury prevention screenings, blood flow restriction training, cupping, fall risk screenings for elderly people and dry needling services,” Bierman said.
Massage therapy services are performed by A-Maize-Ing Massage Therapy.
The clinic accepts insurance from BCBS, Medicare, United Healthcare, Cigna and some Triwest and offers competitive self-pay rates.
The clinic is currently taking new patients.
