Warm up with this creamy taco soup you can make in the crockpot.

Cold winter days call for a warm, creamy and delicious bowl of soup.


This recipe for creamy taco soup is healthy, delicious and easy to make.

WHAT’S IN IT


2 lbs. ground beef or turkey


4 oz. reduced fat cream cheese


1 cup low fat plain Greek yogurt


2 10-oz. cans Rotel tomatoes

1 tbsp. taco seasoning


4 cups low sodium beef/chicken/vegetable broth


1-2 tbsp. fresh cilantro


1/2 cup shredded cheese for topping.

HOW TO MAKE IT


Brown ground meat until fully cooked.


While meat is browning, place cream cheese, tomatoes and taco seasoning into the crockpot.

Drain grease off meat and add to crockpot; stir to combine.


Pour broth into crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.

Add Greek yogurt and cilantro last, heat through, serve.


Top with shredded cheese.
