This week’s featured pets include a cat that does not appreciate belly rubs.

This week’s featured pet up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Bronco, a two to three-year-old neutered male Mastiff/Pit mix.

“He will use anything on the ground to jump fences if something is happening,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He is very sweet and loves attention and his comfy bed.”

Bronco is “mostly” crate-trained, fully vaccinated and microchipped, but is not dog or cat friendly.

Three-year-old Mike-the-cat loves to cuddle, but don’t rub his belly. He doesn’t like it.

Mike is litter box-trained, neutered and microchipped.

To meet Bronco, Mike or the other 66 dogs and 80 cats up for adoption, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 E. Road in Stephenville.
