This week’s featured pets include a bonded pair of female cats; energetic pup that loves people.

Purd and Lucy

Purd and Lucy are two of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

These females are approximately seven to eight years old and are a bonded pair that need to be adopted together. They were surrendered from their previous owner.

“They are declawed so they have to stay inside,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “Lucy and Purd are very friendly and love attention. They do well with older children, dogs and other cats unless they are dominant females.”

Lucy and Purd are spayed and litter box trained.

Wings is an 11-month-old female Catahoula/Cur mix.

“She loves meeting new people and loves kids,” Serena said. “She gets along well with other large dogs, but is not good with small dogs or cats.

Wings

“She is a super energetic, lovely puppy who would make someone a fantastic companion.”

Wings is house and crate-trained, rides well in a car and walks on a leash.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm prevention.
