This sweet pup was surrendered to a shelter more than an hour away, but is back in Erath County and needs a forever home.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Cactus, a six to seven-month-old female Blue Heeler mix.
“She came to us in March with her litter mates,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“She was adopted in April and surrendered to a shelter over an hour away and is now back safe with us.”
Cactus is a sweet girl that knows how to sit and rides well in a car.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Tabitha is a six to seven-year-old female domestic shorthair.
“Don't let her grumpy little face fool you, she is a super sweet girl who wants all the pets,” Serena said. “She is very playful and loves attention.”
Tabitha is a lap cat that loves to cuddle, but doesn't like being picked up or held.
She is good with other cats, but plays pretty rough.
Tabitha is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
She has been at the shelter since April.
