This sweet kitten was rescued from a hoarding situation and now needs a permanent home.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Hermione, a 10-month-old female kitten that is one of seven cats rescued from a hoarding situation.
“She was very skittish when she first came in, but has now decided that she loves attention,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“She loves treats and will adapt quickly in a friendly home.”
Hermione is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and litter box trained.
Oompa is an 11-month-old female Heeler mix.
“She can be a little timid at first, but is super energetic and playful,” Serena said.
Oompa gets along with other dogs and cats and walks well on a leash.
“She is a puppy and is not house trained yet and she likes to chew on things,” Serena said.
Oompa has flea allergies and will need to be kept on medication. She has no spatial awareness and often runs into things.
Oompa is spayed, fully vaccinated, wormed and microchipped.
