This sweet female cat loves to window watch and play with toy mice.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Daria, a one to two-year-old female domestic medium-haired Calico cat.
“She is very affectionate and loves getting scratches,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“She would do best in a home without other animals, especially dogs.”
Daria enjoys window watching, playing with toy mice and cardboard scratch pads.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
Tynsel is an eight to nine-year-old female Pit Bull.
“This sweet old girl was picked up as a stray and not reclaimed,” Serena said. “She is a bit tense in the shelter environment and would most likely do best in a home without much commotion and loud noises because she is a little jumpy.”
Tynsel loves affection and walks well on a leash.
“She thinks she is a passenger princess when riding in a car and loves to stick her head out the window,” Serena said.

“She doesn't seem to be interested in cats and does well with both male and female dogs, but we are not sure about livestock.”
Tynsel is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.
She was adopted from the shelter in January 2022 and came back as a stray in June 2024.
