Say hi to Mistletoe.
Say hi to Mistletoe.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Mistletoe, a three to four-year-old female domestic shorthair.

“She is wishing for one special thing - a calm, loving home to call her own,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“Mistletoe was found as a stray and never reclaimed. She is now ready to leave the past behind and start fresh with someone who is patient and kind.”

Mistletoe is a shy, sweet girl who prefers to move at her own pace.

While she's not a fan of being picked up, she enjoys gentle affection and head scratches once she feels safe and comfortable.

She thrives with respectful handling and a quiet environment where she can build trust

Mistletoe is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.

Bubble Bath is a five to six-year-old female mixed breed.

“This big-hearted girl enjoys snuggles and quality time with her people,” Serena said.

“She is affectionate, gentle and happiest when she's right by your side soaking up attention.”

Bubble Bath does well with other dogs, cats and livestock, but will require a chicken-free home.

She walks nicely on a leash, has excellent manners and is potty trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and has completed treatment for a mild case of heart worm.
