This sweet Aussie/Catahoula mix loves her squeaky toys, but this cat doesn’t like to be handled.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Blanca, an 11-month-old female Aussie Catahoula mix.
“She can be timid when being approached and will usually crawl her way toward you with a cute little smile on her face,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“She is sweet as she can be with people and loves toys. She will usually carry a squeaky toy when she gets really excited or happy.”
Blanca is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative and house-trained.
Gourd is a one-year-old male domestic shorthair.
"He is a loving boy that is very active. He loves to be rubbed, but doesn’t like to be picked up,” Serena said. “He tends to ‘love bite’ when he gets excited, but not hard enough to break skin and is probably best suited in a home with older children or as a friendly barn cat.”
Gourd is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
