This small, friendly guy was found as a stray and never claimed.

Say hi to Mozart!

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Mozart, a four-year-old male Beagle mix.

“He is a small guy, weighing in at just 27 pounds,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He was found as a stray and never claimed.

“He is extremely sweet and adores people. He is fantastic on a leash and only pulls when he needs to go potty.”

Mozart is crate-trained, gets along well with other dogs and loves to play.

He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Mozart is heartworm positive and is on treatment. His adoptive family would be responsible for providing further heartworm treatment.

Tina is a four to five-year-old female domestic shorthair that was seized from a cruelty situation.

Tina the cat.

“She is a friendly girl that enjoys attention,” Serena said.

Tina is spayed, fully vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and litterbox trained.
